One day during the mid-80s, I asked a woman to model for some photographs for me to paint. During the session, her daughter joined us and said something to the effect that her mother was so beautiful. Her mother turned to her and said "You are beautiful!" and I happened to catch that moment in a photograph and painted it. It represents everything today that we need to tell our daughters and granddaughters: That they are beautiful and that beauty is not the artificial merchandise looks on social media but the measure of who you are as a person. Kind. Thoughtful. Caring. Compassionate. Cheerful. True to yourself. Standing up for justice, against injustice, and letting your light shine. This is a digital image to download and either print yourself, or take to a corner photography department of your drug store, or send to an online print shop that will do it for you. Enjoy!
