This is a digital download of the oiriginal painting of a dancer I painted from an old photo that I took of a sitting dancer on Waikiki Beach at dusk, practicing the rhythms on her ipu while the torches were lit, waiting for her halau to perform. She is wearing a traditional ti leaf skirt and maili lei and a plumeria haku lei crowns her hair.
You can print it out as many times as you like, on your home, from your home printer. Frame an image, or make cards, or print it on canvas and make your own giclee. The file is large, and will print with good resolution 5X7, 8X10, 11x 14, and probably a 16x20. The original painting is 16x20, so the resolution may not be as clear as if you print from the original size -- 16 x 20 - or smaller.
Hang it in a quiet spot, and after a stressful day, sit and enjoy. Take in the soft pastels of the Hawaiian sky at dusk, and the changing light on Diamond Head in the background, and imagine you are there, on the beach at Waikiki, letting the cool breeze from Palehua ruffle your hair and carry away your worries.
